Carshalton Beeches consists of two shopping areas. One is at the base of a small hill and the other is on the hill adjacent to Carshalton Beeches Mainline railway station. There are restaurants, florists, and craft shops amongst the more generic local shops.
Carshalton Beeches by Wiki – Carshalton Beeches is the area to the west of Carshalton-on-the-Hill, around Beeches Avenue, Banstead Road and Woodmansterne Road. It grew up around the railway station which was named after Beeches Avenue, the street in which it is located; which, in turn, is named after the beech trees which line it.
